Your First Week

Welcome to Calm Experts, we are happy to have you join our community of devoted employees and look forward to meeting and working with you.

There are a few things an Expert should know, first and foremost, our Code Of Conduct, second the culture at Calm Experts and lastly how to represent the Calm brand.

  • Day One

    By now you should have signed and returned your Employee Agreement, it is time to get yourself set up. Make sure you have access to all the accounts, material and software you need.

  1. Setting up your accounts
    We take our data privacy and security very seriously, 2 factor verification is mandatory on all accounts, download Google Authenticator (Android, iOS) and make sure you have a lock on your laptop and phone.

    Wise: We pay our employees via Wise. Please, set an account in using Canadian dollars as currency following these steps:
    It is important that you also understand how to create an invoice. Instructions are in the link above.

    Google Workspace: When you join Calm Experts you should receive your personalized work email (yourname@calmexperts.com), if you do not have this email yet, please contact HR or your hiring manager. It will be beneficial that you get familiar with the whole of G-suite as your one account gives you access to a variety of apps and software. Here are the ones we use friendly.

  • Google Mail / Gmail

  • Google Chat (iOS, Android, Web and can also be accessed directly in gmail)
    To be used for all internal communications, If you are communicating about “official Business”, please use email.

  • Google Meet (Google Meet is your friend. Which is available on iOS and Android)
    For more in-depth conversations that might require video conferencing, Google Meet is your friend.

    HubSpot:(only necessary for some employees) Once you have access to your work email look for your invite to HubSpot and create your account. Bookmark and download the app on Android or iOS. HubSpot is a large software with many features, take the time to get to know it.

    Xero: is used to track the time you work and on what project you are working. https://www.xero.com/

  • Download Projects Xero on the Play Store or App Store
